Kenneth E. '63 and Ruth Arnold Fabrication and Testing Lab
Supporters of the testing Lab area are Ken and Ruth Arnold, CEE Class of 1963 who are dedicated to the mission and goals of the School of CEE and assisting students in their education to become leaders in engineering.
The spacious Ken Arnold Room allows students to collaborate with faculty and staff on both research projects and class assignments.
The Ken Arnold space includes equipment used in making specimens for projects such as: Solar Ovens, Human powered electricity generation, and Solar Water Distillers. This space also includes testing equipment for the 400K Baldwin Universal testing machine used for demonstrating ductility and failure mechanisms of concrete beams.
